We do not intend to sell personal information for money. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices required by applicable law.
10. Moderation, AI, and Automated Tools
We may use manual review, automated tools, and artificial intelligence systems to help evaluate listings, descriptions, images, reports, spam signals, prohibited content, account risk, and platform security.
These tools may process information you submit, including text, images, listing details, category selections, location information, and security signals. Automated tools are not perfect and may produce incorrect results. We may use these outputs to support moderation decisions, but they do not guarantee that a listing, user, or company is safe, accurate, legitimate, or suitable.

Safeguards may include access controls, password hashing, secure hosting practices, logging, monitoring, captcha, moderation, and other technical and organizational measures.
No website, database, network, email system, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using strong passwords, keeping login details confidential, and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
12. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating the platform, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, satisfying legal obligations, and protecting platform integrity.
Public business listings, directory records, marketplace listings, inquiries, logs, moderation records, and account records may be retained even after a user edits, deletes, closes, or stops using an account, where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, operational, security, recordkeeping, or legitimate business reasons.
13. Cross-Border Processing
MfgWave is a North America-focused platform. Information may be stored, processed, or accessed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws where you live.
By using the platform, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions as permitted by applicable law.
14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, portability of, or information about the personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, object to certain processing, limit certain disclosures, or file a privacy complaint.
To make a privacy request, contact us at support@mfgwave.com. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit requests where permitted or required by law, including where information is subject to legal privilege, business confidentiality, security concerns, fraud prevention, legal claims, or record retention obligations.
Canadian Privacy Rights
Canadian users may request access to their personal information and correction of inaccurate information, subject to exceptions under applicable privacy laws.
United States and State Privacy Rights
Some U.S. residents may have additional rights under state privacy laws, depending on our legal obligations and whether those laws apply to us. These rights may include requests to know, access, correct, delete, or receive certain information, and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities where applicable.
We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights required by applicable law.
15. Children and Minors
The platform is intended for business and industrial use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. The platform may link to third party websites, company websites, seller websites, payment providers, maps, analytics providers, hosting services, or other external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or conduct of third parties.
Review the privacy policies and terms of third party services before providing information to them.
17. Do Not Track and Preference Signals
Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” or similar signals. Because there is not always a uniform industry standard for responding to such signals, our platform may not respond to all browser-based Do Not Track signals. Where legally required, we will make reasonable efforts to recognize applicable privacy preference signals.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the platform after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means you acknowledge the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
